The new school

Meghan walked into the room full of children smirking at her.This was the 5th and probably not the last time she was moving school. She was wearing a long, grey skirt, long socks, an ugly faded black jumper and big chunky school shoes her mum bought her from george. She sat down at the first empty table she seen, she looked beside her to see a tall, black haired girl. Her hair was shiny and long, she was wearing a ton of make-up and had a smirk on her face. It was just like Meghans last school when she was constantly picked on just because her mum wanted her to look sophisticated. She got through the class quite ok except that everybody was laughing at her and sticking chewing-gum in her hair. Its better than her last school anyway when they bit her and threw their packed lunches on her. She walked out the class feeling sort of glum when the black haired girl marched up to her. She had alot of other friends with her aswell. They were all really tall and pretty. The black haired girl mentioned to Meghan that she should watch her self otherwise she would come out of the school looking black and blue. Meghan knew what that meant so she'd have to have a talk with her mum. Meghan got home after a hard day of school and had her dinner. After she had her dinner she sat down and said to her mum about how she was always getting bullied and that she wanted to look cool like all of the other girls. But her mum told her it was a definite no to make up and straightners, she was too young and she needed to look smart. The next morning Meghan got into her ugly school clothes like normal but just then she had an idea! Sneaking into her mums room she stole her mums straightners, switched them on and started using them on her brown, wavy hair. She burnt her finger but after a couple of minutes, she got the hang of it. Then with a brain full of mischief, she opened her mums make-up drawer quietly and put on foundation, lip-gloss and eye liner. She sticked her hair up in a bobble so her mum wouldn't notice her straightened hair. Then she went into her wardrobe but nothing there was nice enough, but then she realised she was the same size as her mum(her mum was really small!)She went back into her mums room and grabbed a black, high waisted pencil skirt, a shirt and black heels. She stuffed them in her bag and rushed out of the door without breakfast. When she got to school she rushed to the toilet to change and once she was changed she took out her bobble and looked in the mirror, she looked great! She walked into class elegantly and sat beside Zara, the girl with the black hair, witha smile stuck onto her face. Although Meghan was smiling, Zara wasn't, she hated the way Meghan looked because she looked better than her. She got through the day great except, at the end of the day Zara warned her she should watch out because she better not overtake her.
